• Oct 22 Dr. Yu gave an invited talk to the School of Safety Engineering China University of Mining and Technology.

• Apr 10 Dr. Yu gave an invited talk at AWMA CPANS luncheon, titled "Connecting the Chemical Composition of Fine Particulate Matter (PM2.5) with Its Oxidative Potential: The Role of Redox-active Components".

• Jan 15 Dr. Haoran Yu has officially joined the University of Alberta as an Assistant Professor. His research focuses on the health effect of ambient atmospheric pollutants.
